Cambie St. Downtown Vancouver

Caulking and single glazed glass replacement on steel and putty frames.

The entire front window wall of this Heritage building had a deteriorating seal between the building and the steel windows, and from the steel windows to the glass pains. There were also about a dozen panes that were broken and needed replacing.

We replaced the broken glass, and removed all the old caulking around the frames. We thoroughly cleaned, then applied modern polyurethane caulking around the frames, and from the glass to the steel frame. The modern caulking is far superior to what was available when this building was built. It will stay flexible, helping it to hold out the weather for years to come.

When completed, although superior modern materials were used, the windows looked exactly as they would have the day the building opened.
